Program IV: Communicating and Influencing Across Cultures

This program teaches the fundamentals of “cultural intelligence” to strengthen both influencing skills and cross-cultural collaboration.

Communication is a two-way street.  It is not only about sending clear information to colleagues from a different culture, but about accurately understanding the information that is received.

This program is ideal for cross-cultural work groups. It begins with assessments such as the DISC and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to enhance self knowledge of leadership and influencing styles compared to colleagues from other countries. It is followed by a series of short training programs designed to bridge cultural styles of communication including listening skills, business writing skills, presentation skills and facilitation skills. The program blends theory with examples from everyday work activities, ensuring that the learning is relevant and immediately applicable.  The program is offered with on-going practice and feedback sessions to ensure mastery of the requisite skill sets.
